This Privacy Policy describes how Waypoint True, Inc., a Wyoming corporation (“Waypoint True,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information across all of our websites, products, and services — including waypointtrue.com, Verity (our Hours-of-Service compliance-auditing platform at verityhos.com), and any other current or future Waypoint True product or service (collectively, the “Services”). The short version: we use the data you share with us to run and improve our own products. We do not sell it.
We collect the following categories of information:
We use the information we collect to:
Waypoint True does not sell personal information or Customer Data, and does not rent, trade, or disclose it to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Data you share with us is used to operate and improve Waypoint True’s own products and services — nothing else.
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
When a carrier or other business customer submits records containing personal information about its drivers or personnel, Waypoint True processes that information on the customer’s behalf and at its direction. The customer is responsible for providing any required notices to, and obtaining any required consents from, the individuals whose information appears in those records. If you are a driver with questions about records your carrier submitted, please contact your carrier first; we will support their response.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer Data associated with a closed account is deleted or de-identified in the ordinary course, subject to legal retention requirements and routine backup cycles. De-identified and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use strong, unique credentials for your account.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through waypointtrue.com/contact; we will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Services (such as authentication and security) and to understand how the Services are used so we can improve them. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may affect functionality.
The Services are business tools intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date, and where appropriate provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
